What to do in a conflict with a previous employer
If you've had a conflict with your previous employer and your contract is at risk of being terminated, it's important to remember: under Slovak law you have only 2 months to find a new company and get officially employed there. If you don't yet have a taxi driver licence, contact us as early as possible β€” we'll help you prepare the documents and obtain the licence well in advance, so you're guaranteed to find employment within the set deadline.

A stopgap via food delivery, then on to taxi work
If you've lost your job, want to work in taxi but have already spent 1–1.5 months without official employment β€” we can register you with the Bolt Food delivery service (any type of transport will do). While you work in delivery and wait for your licence, your employment status stays unbroken. As soon as your licence is ready, we'll move you over to the taxi service β€” as a result, you keep your documents in order and have no gaps in your employment record.

Temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens won't last forever
Many already understand: temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens will expire sooner or later β€” it's only a matter of time. That's why more and more people are thinking about where they can find official employment and earn good money on a stable, long-term basis, without worrying about what happens to their status tomorrow.

For Ukrainian citizens without protection status
If you're a Ukrainian citizen who, for whatever reason, hasn't obtained temporary protection in Slovakia and is staying here visa-free, with at least 1.5 months of legal stay remaining β€” we can employ you officially. You'll receive a residence permit based on employment and will be able to work in taxi (Bolt, Uber) or food delivery (Bolt Food).

Relocating from another EU country with valid protection
If you want to move to Slovakia and already hold protection status in another European Union country (in the form of a plastic card) β€” for example in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or elsewhere β€” we'll help you find employment in Slovakia, and you'll receive a Slovak residence permit.
